Hello, I'm Sarah
lifestyle photographER
I am a mama of 3...soon to be 4 boys, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a lover of the arts, a coffee addict and a passionate dreamer.
I picked up my first camera when I was 10 years old and I haven't put one down since. Photography has truly been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't have a camera in my hand!
While I studied Graphic Design and Photography at Bridgewater State University, I was able to learn many different skills that have helped direct my photography in a way that not only creates authentic aesthetically pleasing images but evokes emotion through the art of each image captured.
To show you how I see the world through my lens and being able to capture raw authentic moments that we as humans experience throughout life is such a privilege and not something I take lightly.
Macro photography was my first love and that love lended me a certain perspective which has allowed me to be able to capture the "little things in life", literally and figuratively. My second love, and main focus of photography now, would have to be lifestyle photography. I find that there is such beauty in capturing the real authentic moments you are experiencing throughout your session rather than focusing the energy on creating the "perfect" moment or image during your session, of course unless this is what you desire!
I have found that there is true beauty in the individuality we encompass as unique individuals and it is a mission of mine to capture exactly that during each session. Photography to me, is being able to tell a story through the eye of a lens and since each session is so unique, I do my best to embrace all of that and it is has become the foundation of my art!

My approach to Candid,
real and unposed photography.

I like to go into each session with an open mind!
Being a mama myself, I am more than understanding that sometimes life just happens and I approach each and every session with the understanding that sometimes things don't go exactly as planned and that's okay... so PLEASE don't panic!
I am prepared to help you and those that you share your session with in any way that I can. I make sure that I am there for you throughout this entire process, start to finish! No stone will be left unturned.
Prior to your session you can expect a consultation to discuss exactly what your vision is!
From there I will put together an inspiration board (if you haven't already) to help you visualize exactly what your session is going to look like! I can also provide color suggestions that will help create the most aesthetically pleasing images for your session!
The most important thing to remember is that I want you to be authentically yourself! I will come equipped to your session with prompts that will help provide these "natural moments" to form naturally between you & those that you choose to share your session with! Being perfect is NOT a focus of mine and I don't want it to be a focus of yours either.
